Our History
Founded in Ottawa in 1978, Starship quickly established itself as a trusted logistics provider across Canada. In 1980, the acquisition of Canbec expanded our service capabilities in Montreal and strengthened our presence in key regional markets. Today, Starship supports hundreds of businesses nationwide with a comprehensive range of logistics and final-mile solutions.
In 2021, Starship was acquired by American Expediting, a U.S.-based life sciences and specialty logistics provider. Together, the two organizations combine decades of operational experience and a shared commitment to reliable, time-sensitive delivery for high-value and mission-critical shipments across Canada and the U.S.
